The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, second edition (ADOS-2) an instrument for diagnosing and assessing autism. This evaluation consists of a series of structured and semi-structured tasks that involve social interaction between the examiner and the person being assessed. The examiner observes and identifies segments of the subject's behavior and assigns these to predetermined observational categories. The information gathered during the ADOS-2 will be utilized by your Developmental Pediatrician or Neurologist to determine if a formal diagnosis of autism is appropriate.
All ADOS-2 evaluations are administered by our occupational therapist to ensure the highest quality of testing.
